ok guys i'm safely in japan n i juz got my computer account on monday but i left it in the computer room so i only got to on9 yesterday but the post i submitted last nite wasnt pubilshed so now i'm juz dropping a few lines here....
for a better (n more graphical) description of japan pls refer to see tatt's blog http://escapist5.blogspot.com cuz i had been kinda lazy wif photo taking n since he took most of the pics n posted them liao i guess i dunnit 2 do redundant work :P
the keyboards in japan suck....not relly lah...but the special characters like '@' n '_' (n even the apostrophe n brackets) r in different places..so i kept typing the wrong things on msn n such...but ah...its good to b on9....i cant imagine how i lasted the whole week without the internet (n without dota....god...i miss pwning ppl.....)
well..japan's cold n dry...i've kinda got used to the cold but the dryness still sucks...cuz it was so bad dat the skin was flaking off from my face...n the corners of my mouth dried so much it hurt to open my mouth..so last week talking n eating was sucky...luckily i started using lip balm n the skin oil my mom gave me n it helped lah..kind of. its weird dat now i like rainy days more here in japan despite it being colder..cuz the air becomes more humid when its raining.....
japan's like, really clean. u can hardly see any rubbish like plastic bags etc on the streets n even the backways n alleys r well...not-smelly. its great how they manage to blend in technology wif nature...like...the convenience stores in the smallest village oso hv stuff like electronic scanners n microwave oven...while mebbe a few steps away is a park wif subarashi landscaping....
one thing tho..the stuff here r really expensive...we malaysians hv been living like meanies for the last week......buying only the cheapest stuff from the cheapest place...so far our daily food budget is like 1000 yen but even that is around RM30 liao.....
well, library is closing soon...at least i think dats wat the announcement voice is saying...another thing about japan is dat everything is in japanese cuz they'r so self sufficient they hardly need any imported stuff wif english on....so many times we hv 2 guess wat a particular notice or document or announcement is saying.....
so minasan, ja mata, i'll prob b on9 again tml nite to blog about the classes n sum other stuff....if got anything u wanna noe about japan juz leave a comment lah...cuz i relly duno wat to write when i sit down here....

ahhhh....finally! some news from raptor the ravenlord! =D
glad to know u're safe and sound...
i'm not good with words...dunno what to say...
juz wanna say, glad to hear from u again!
hmmm.....u gonna cook urself or not?
ur hostel cannot online meh?
and oh ya u said its cold n dry over there
try shea butter....i mentioned bout that at kryptos' blog
i think here at malaysia u can get one big good tub of it at forty something.
just don't use gel based moisturiser over there...those are meant for oil control
in case u think i'm speaking alien language, come and ask me urself
ur post didnt really sound like ur normal self
ppl change fast
:p
lipbalm?
that's new
tryt lipstick then take a picture of urself
LOL
haiyo...mine is not the cosmetic-type lip balm..its for protection 1...to prevent drying...n yah i'm gonna cook...soon...cuz last nite juz bought the rice...but mite wait 2 more weeks for the bazaar so i can buy the rice cooker at a cheap price
so now u cook rice with charcoal?
without rice cooker what....
eh....who said only girls can use lip balm? guys should use too! :P
seriously....next time when you're back at m'sia, get yourself a big good tub of shea butter...available at the body shop.i think it will be expensive to buy at japan since everything is expensive there, and i dun think you would go into the shops to find for stuff like that :P
its not really expensive you know, becuz other than body shop,i only noe that loccitane got the shea butter range....at a much more higher price
shea butter has healing properties...so no matter how cold or dry the wind is ur skin won't go cracked and dry....
but i dun think its suitable to be used at m'sia la since its so humid over here
hmmm, sounds so much like a commercial.
Great to hear that you are dabbling in cooking :P hahahaha.....neeways, a cheaper alternative to moisturizers or lip balms is vaseline ( petroleum jelly) Yeah I know this sounds yucky but it does the trick....works for both the body and the lips :P you'll just have to get used to the 'stickiness'
2 junes? wow..hehe
erm...shea butter r...i think i wun need it liao cuz i'v sorta adapted...but mebbe if it gets too dry during winter i'll give it a try
thanx neways
june: yes!i use vaseline everyday! i dun think its sticky anyway.....much more better than the lipice fruit flavour lip balm which tends to be a lil waxy
raptor: i think japan will be colder than taiwan, right?ppl at taiwan oso use shea butter during winter...it has healing properties so in case one day u forgot to use,ur skin oso won't crack easily.
get one for 40 smtg at the body shop,or if u want branded stuff, get one for hundred something at loccitane or crabtee and evelyn :P
ok ok,i dun think u understand those....:P :P :P
ah well, i'll give it a try if u insist...but hopefully the driest part of winter wudnt hv come already by the time i go back 2 penang during winter holidays...
